Our Guru Sri Kalki Jothi

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

Divine Knowledge      Guru       4 Steps         Paramaguru       Devotional Ways     Different Gurus

Another meaning for guru is teacher. School teachers educate children on subjects and world matters while a divine guru educates his disciple in self-realization. There are many holy ones around us but how many of them really reached their motive in assisting someone to attain salvation.

I am very honored to be blessed to serve a great guru. I have read about various gurus and how they educate their disciples by books, practices and finance. My guru never did any of that as he or his way of living is a proven lesson for any faithful followers.

Oh yes, once I read about a book of Sri Ramakrishna's life story; I was very surprised at the similarities in both their outlook and spirituality. At times, I strongly feel that this could be reason for Mother Kali to be very attached to him. Maya is so strong that no one could overcome her. Either you have to be in Lord Siva stage or you should blend with Maya to recognize her moves. Even the name Sri Kalki Jothi was given to him personally by Mother Kali.

One of the followers who met a saint in North India told him, "The person in this photograph is someone we wish to see. You are beside him yet you came a long way to enquire about him. The follower," No Swami actually I want to be his disciple. I don't know what I am supposed to do?" Swami said," You can only become his disciple when you able to catch the wind in your hands".

The glow on his face, the simple appearance and great knowledge is his speciality. To set an example, though he doesn't have to go through problems he creates situations to educate his followers on different issues. Though, you can see him going through problems externally, he is away from everything internally.

He will talk on general matters and indirectly inform or warn someone sitting in a small crowd on forthcoming problems to make them prepare themselves. He simply jokes on great issues to give others the confidence that nothing is difficult if you have the will power. He tells his personal experiences to everyone to guide them. He prefers to be alone. He dislikes false acts and those who lure innocent people by such methods. He always advises his followers not to believe in illusionary acts that might misguide them from realising the actual purpose of devotion.

The secret about him is that wherever he is, people can feel the divine vibration. At times, some says that they could see the presence of Mother Sakthi in him. Some say they could see other divine forms. There were moments when people go into trance on seeing him.

At times, when people complain to him about ghosts, he would give his photograph to them and jokes, "Next time, when you are disturbed by evil spirits show them my photo they know me better than humans". In fact, even sithi yogis, saints and the sacred scripts (olai suvadi) reveal his true identity.

His usual answer "I prefer to be a good human being and not someone special." He goes to coffee shops, cinemas and functions held by his disciples. He plays with small children becoming one of them. He never encouraged anyone to become sanyasi or to neglect family duties. Neglecting such things are sins. Every woman in this world is a representative of Mother Sakthi. No one should neglect Sakthi if he seeks fulfilment in life and salvation after life. It only depends on how you wish to treat a woman.

His teaching is based on internal purification and letting each of them to realize their own capability. "Our body is like a rented house. Our soul is pushed into different bodies. Only self-realization gives salvation. You can practice meditation or yoga but if you do not set your mind on the right path, it does not help you too.

Pray to god for love and not others. If he knows when you should be born than he knows when to give you anything without asking. Seek the messiah in you to see him in person."

My guru never gave me a lecture on any spiritual matters till today. His conversation with others and my meditation upon him changed me to be a divine person.

If you choose anyone as your spiritual guide, try to serve him and feel him as a supreme one. Don't see his outlook or judge his behavior thats when Maya will play her part.

Be careful in your decision and be firm. The feelings, heart and mind are most important in such process.
