Our Guru in his early twenties, worked at the Public Utilities Board (PUB). At that time, since he was more engrossed on meditation to upgrade his divine powers, his face would normally appear serious. He isolated himself from others and rarely talked to anyone.
Once a person (bomoh) working there, approached our guru for a challenge. He somehow got unhappy about our guru’s appearance and thought that he could scare him away. As usual, our guru declined to accept his challenge since he doesn’t like to abuse his divine powers for such purposes.
However the bomoh never gave up, he went back home and locked himself in his room and began to perform his skills. He thought he was powerful enough to ruin anyone’s life easily. After sometime, ‘mother’ appeared in front of him. He can’t visualize her clearly. She appeared tall, dark and was clad with tiger skin below her waist. She spoke to him in Malay.
‘How dare you disturb my son! From today, you will loose all your powers.’ and she disappeared. Next morning, the bomoh went to work early. He searched for our guru and confronted him. Our guru noticed that he had shaved away his mustache and hair. “Samy I am very sorry for offending you and he continued to explain whom he saw. From today I am not going to do this Bomoh job, instead I will sell curry puffs for side income”
