Remarkable Incidents

Sri Kalki Peedum Society / ஸ்ரீ கல்கி பீடும் சங்கம்

At times, due to human nature we get bored of our routine duties. People living a luxurious life are the mostly affected ones as their wishes are fulfilled immediately. Many of us believe that they are the 'lucky ones', but most of us don't realise that it will cause frustration too.

Our body needs food to function properly; likewise our 'soul' needs a booster. Any faithful prayer will inspire the 'inner-search' that reveals many secrets of nature and birth and you will never get bored easily.

During our classes, I will inspire our disciples or followers by telling them many incidents that happened in our guru's life. It's a sort of 'mind therapy' that controls our thoughts on any negative issues.

It also helps in meditation and encourages us to move forward with good confidence in god.

Here, I am writing a few selected incidents to boost your mind too.

Gerard was a very faithful devotee. To avoid unnecessary quarrels with his parents he stayed with his relatives. He was suffering from 'a hole in his heart' condition since birth. On knowing our guru through his relative, he frequently visited him whenever he felt bored.

Once his condition worsened, he got admitted in hospital and the doctors told that he has only a few months left to be alive. Our guru visited him and gave him a glass of blessed water that improved his condition and he was discharged from hospital.

On that day onwards, during his visits he will drink some blessed water. A few years passed he was still surviving though in between he was admitted to hospital. The doctors repeated their warning but he was discharged. He had a girlfriend who decided to marry him despite his unstable health condition.

Though it was a great sacrifice done by the girl, his health worsened. A few months after marriage, he brought his wife to our guru's place and informed him that his wife was worried that she hasn't conceived.

Our guru kept quiet and shook his head. After they left, he informed me, 'Gerard will die within 3 months and he is requesting for a child. He was not supposed to get married as it has deteriorated his health.'

As predicted, Gerard had some internal bleeding and some blood oozed out from his nose. He was only in his mid- twenties when he died. His family cremated him. That night, 'Gerard' came to visit our guru. Two angels that escorted him waited at the main door. Gerard came into the bedroom.
He touched our guru's feet with respect.

At first our guru raised his hand to give 'It' a slap thinking 'it' was an (evil) intruder. On hearing a familiar voice, he stopped and looked closely.

It was 'Gerard' who looked like a 'burnt-charcoal' and was shivering. 'Who brought you here Gerard?' 'Two angels Samy and they are waiting outside for me to return'. 'Why didn't they follow you in?' 'They said that they have no permission from you to enter'.

'Now what can I do for you Gerard?' 'I wish to be born again and I miss my wife'.

'She is not your wife anymore and I advice you not to wish for a next birth.'

'I will send you to a beautiful place and you will be happy there. I will visit you occasionally, you can leave now'.

Samy bid farewell and slept.

Once there was an old lady in Johore (Malaysia). She knew Samy for many years and she treated him like another son. From her personal view, divine dreams and personal experience, she believed that Samy is a very special person. Regardless of age difference, she prayed to our Guru's photo. She also kept his pair of old shoes below the prayer-alter. She never bothered about others' comments.

One day she was having severe pain in her ear. She was washing clothes while scolding Samy that he never cured her problem. She believed that Samy would know anything from wherever he was. True enough, while she was still mumbling, someone invisible gave her a hard slap on her face. She was shocked and sat quietly for a while; she slowly realised that her earache had disappeared.

This lady once dreamt about Samy lying on a huge 'five-headed snake' on the Milk Ocean. Samy was asking her to come nearer to him. She said that she was afraid to drown in the Milk Ocean and stayed ashore. When she told Samy about this dream, Samy knew that she would not live long.

As expected, the old lady was bed ridden. Samy was too busy and never visited her or contacted her for sometime.

One night, Samy received a call from her daughter revealing that her mother was very serious and she was yearning to see him for the last time.It was late and Samy knew that he would not reach there on time and he decided not to go. Samy told his disciple that the old lady was a staunch devotee and he need not go there but she will come to him. Samy went to bed and his disciple was also sleeping.

Suddenly a voice was heard and it was calling loudly and clearly for 'Krishna, Krishna… and it was circling the room. The disciple woke up and sat wondering while Samy signalled to his disciple to lye down quietly.

In a few seconds, the sound approached Samy and stopped. Samy's body changed like an old woman and in a second got back to normal.

After sometime, the phone rang and the disciple was informed that the old woman has passed away. Samy told his disciple, 'you have just witnessed how a soul reaches me.

Out of millions of soul in this world only two or three reaches me (salvation).

I am in human form that is why you could see me changing if not you can only see light'.

A few years ago, a person called Archuna had an accident. He was admitted in hospital for injuries. He could not move his body and the doctors informed him that due to a back injury he has become paralyzed. At that time he was in early twenties. He felt that his future was gone.

Suddenly he remembered about Samy and he has great respect for him as a friend. Archuna told his brother to fetch Samy to him on his next visit. As requested, Samy went to see him that evening. At that moment, a doctor was examining him and he told them that Archuna would be bed ridden forever.

Archuna was in tears and Samy consoled him. Samy started to pinch Archuna in various parts of his body and asked him if he sensed any pain. Archuna replied 'yes' and immediately Samy told him that he would recover soon. After sometime, Samy took a small packet of 'holy ash' (vibuthi), prayed and applied it on Archuna's forehead. 'I think maybe within 3 days you can become normal'. Samy's word was very encouraging for him.

That night while everyone was sleeping, Archuna was blankly starring at the ceiling. He moved his head around to see whatever he could to pass time. He saw an old man was sleeping soundly on the next bed. Suddenly something caught Archuna's sight. He turned his head and looked straight ahead.

He saw a fierce, tall and muscular figure staring directly at him. It’s look sent shivers in his nerves. Archuna was helpless and speechless. The figure turned its head towards the old man and showed a 'whip' (rope) at him without making even a move and disappeared. Archuna immediately got out of the bed and started to walk up and down the ward without realising that he was cured. When his mind calmed down, he was overjoyed by his good condition. Archuna lay on his bed calmly.

The nurses who made the morning routine checks were surprised to see Archuna back to normal. Later they found out that the old man on the next bed had died in his sleep. Archuna phoned his brother to bring Samy to hospital.

Archuna took a piece of blank paper and drew the figure while waiting for Samy's arrival. Later, he showed Samy the picture. Samy told him that it was the 'angel for death'. 'I think the holy ash applied on your forehead had revealed its appearance.

Its sight has cured your nerve problems and you are now back to normal. Archuna thanked Samy for making everything possible and got discharged from hospital on that day itself.

Raja's wife frequently suffered from 'fits'. She became very upset about her problem and was embarrassed about it too. She decided to kill herself by taking sleeping pills. Raja who came back home after work soon realised what had happened.

He immediately called for an ambulance. The medical officers informed that his wife was in a serious condition. In hospital, the doctors gave her some treatment but could not promise Raja anything.

Raja and a friend who came to console him were very worried. An office cleaner advised them to see Samy and seek his help. It was about midnight but they insisted in meeting him. They went to Samy's place and informed him everything. Samy calmly took down the ward number and ICU bed no. and told them to return to hospital.

He would visit the patient in a short while. Raja asked him to follow them but Samy declined and went back inside. They left his place and took a cab back to the hospital. When the cab stopped, Raja saw Samy walking towards the wife's room. Raja's wife saw Samy and he scolded her for acting stupidly. He took a glass of water and prayed. Raja's wife was very weak but somehow she drank the water.

Samy advised her not to do such things again. 'You will not have fits again. OK. I'm leaving now tell your husband that I had visited you' and with that Samy left.

Meanwhile, Raja hurried into the ward and saw his wife was sitting on the bed. 'Did you see Samy, he asked. He just left,' his wife replied. 'Yes, I saw him walking in while alighting from the taxi but I didn't see him leave.

I wonder how he could get here so fast.' Raja's wife recovered and was discharged from hospital. They visited Samy and thanked him for his great help. However, Raja was very anxious to know how Samy came to the hospital so fast and disappeared from there.

Samy answered him, 'actually what you saw there was my 'inner-self' and that is how I travel while in sleep'. From that day onwards, Raja became Samy's good friend. Presently, Raja has settled down in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

There are many more such memories that speak clearly of him but I do not wish to turn these into an advertisement. So we shall proceed further.
